Established as a 501(c)3 organization, the homestead serves as the flagship location of Heroes Homestead. We are helping families across America recieve their veteran home, post service. Through community support and volunteers, Heroes Homestead provides family integrated and community connected care to our service members, veterans and first responder families in an innovative approach of interpersonal connection and growth. We serve the whole family through programs specially adapted to the needs of military and veteran families.

Join Beyond the Uniform or visit the Victory Center and Garden to gain insight into sustainable healthy living. If needing services beyond Eastern Washington, reach out for a care coordinat or for any of the 50 US States.
Our family farm is as much a learning space as it is a place of hospitality and gathering to help you feel a sense of belonging. Our own journey through the fog of mental health, post service, along with a long family his of military service and family, is the backbone to the passion behind the homestead as a gathering place. Comfort is best received in the home environment. While you visit, we hope you feel as though you are family.
Check out our community events open to the public, or sign up for veteran family connection, request a care coordinator or join our events in the community. Visiting the homestead does require a registration or prior arrangements. It is managed by a private residence, prior arrangements are required to or call for after hours support.
Homesteading helps veterans heal by providing a renewed purpose, a structured daily routine, and a peaceful enviroment. Transition from the nature of combat and experience the rewarding process of nurturing life. Along with fostering a positive mission, enjoy connecting with nature, cultivating life, and enjoy comradery with peers, while enjoying sunlight, fresh whole foods, coupled with physical movement. Veterans in agriculture is a recognized therapeutic opportunity by private and government sectors alike. At Heroes Homestead, we invite the family into the healing process.
