Abigail's Garden Party
Heroes Homestead
Saturday, May 11, 12 PM - 4 PM
Saturday, May 18th 10 AM - 2 PM

Join us in the Victory Garden at Heroes Homestead for a time of parents-child/youth connection. Designed from the perspective of a child, Abigail created this event at the age of 9 and has lead it year after year. Now she is 13 and she has some new fresh fun up her sleeve to share with your family. Abigail knows the challenges to speak the same language and connect after military service, and wants to help her peers win more than lose with mom and dad. She’s passionate about kids building confidence in their relationships with their parents.

Fortifying the Family through the perspective of the child's heart.

This May, join Abigail and friends in the garden for good laughs- people who also GET IT, and make a meaningful and lasting connection with the little humans you are raising post service time.

Open to the public with $10 event access pass for crafts, garden activities, games, and petting zoo. Free all day access and activity pass for military and veterans and their family.

Make a gift for mom, help plant the community garden and take a plant home. You may pack a picnic lunch. There are picnic tables available in our Pavilion.

Veterans and Household receive FREE entry with ID. Use code: Veteran

Fortifying Families
Family Integrated Support for the Veteran

Serving the entire family in re-adjustment to family life post service or between deployments. When you're here, you are family, HEROES Family.

Welcome To Our Homestead
Located in the farmlands of Williams Valley in Clayton, Washington.

Established as a 501(c)3 organization, the homestead serves as the flagship location of Heroes Homestead. We are helping families across America recieve their veteran home, post service. Through community support and volunteers, Heroes Homestead provides family integrated and community connected care to our service members, veterans and first responder families in an innovative approach of interpersonal connection and growth. We serve the whole family through programs specially adapted to the needs of military and veteran families.

Define your Hero Journey, post service, with the help of Heroes Homestead. We place a high priority on helping you find health and purpose after service. Join Beyond the Uniform or visit the Victory Center and Garden to gain insight into sustainable healthy living. If needing services beyond Eastern Washington, reach out for a care coordinat or for any of the 50 US States.

Our family farm is as much a learning space as it is a place of hospitality and gathering to help you feel a sense of belonging. Our own journey through the fog of mental health, post service, along with a long family his of military service and family, is the backbone to the passion behind the homestead as a gathering place. Comfort is best received in the home environment. While you visit, we hope you feel as though you are family.

Check out our community events open to the public, or sign up for veteran family connection, request a care coordinator or plan a private visit. It is managed by a private residence, prior arrangements are requested or call for after hours support.

Honoring Heroes
Heroes Journal is a bi-annual publication that celebrates HEROES and the community impact you make in your community, in our country and around the world.

Entries are eligible for Seahawk game tickets at Lumen Field, when in season. Submit a story of your veteran and celebrate their legacy and story. Did your family have unique experiences while living on base, serving overseas, or do you have advice and stories to share with those still in service? Perhaps you transitioned out of the military and have a journey to share. Our stories can impact others and build connection and understanding for our nation. Share the sacrifice, reason behind their choice and how you see their service impact their community. Thank you for service!

HEROES are leaders. America is stronger for your sacrifice.

Service members, veterans or family can submite stories. Please include contact information and photos if possible.
