Host a table and honor the Veterans in your company or organization. Together we honor heroes, fortify families and celebrate the freedom they defend.

Veterans' Day Annually on November 11
Nomination Deadline: October 15 at 11:59 PM

Nominate a veteran Hero and celebrate their legacy and story. Our stories can impact others and build connection and understanding for our nation. Share the sacrifice, reason behind their choice and how you see their service impact their community. Thank you for service!

HEROES are leaders. How is your Hero leading the way of service and sacrafice in thier circle of influence? America is stronger for the leadership our military and veterans bring to the communities where they live.

Who to Nominate: Veterans in Washington State who serve, lead, and protect in their community, family, or workplace.

Nomination Categories:

Community Impact Leadership: Veterans who serve in communities faithfully and diligently. (i.e. dedicated volunteers, good neighbors or essential community workers). They prioritize the needs of the community and its members, often focusing on service and support.

Community Champion: Veterans who inspire and motivate others, often fostering change and development within the community. (i.e. mentor or teacher or advocate for others).

American Unity: Awarded to those who excel at bridging gaps, bringing communities together, and fostering national or local unity.

Liberty Legacy Builder: Recognizes veterans who mobilize the community to address specific issues or needs, often focused on preserving, honoring and building on the foundational values of American Democracy. Examples may include encouraging youth participation in local government and decision-making process, advocating for social change and justice.

Please Note: Define the area of submission and highlight specific core leadership examples. Please include your contact information and the veterans, for follow-up inquiry and photos. Selected awardees and their guest will receive free entry to the evening.

One Mission: Be Home
Veteran-led Community Mobilization Intiative

Serving the immediate needs of the community impacted by the Spokane Complex Fires. Please fill out the online form to request supplies or refer a friend or neighbor.

One Mission is a focused effort of Heroes Homestead in connection to over 30 organizations and corporations, spanning the needs of the individuals affected by wildfires in Spokane and Stevens Counties.

MISSION: Mobilize the community through veteran leadership with the single goal of bringing everyone affected by local fires back "home."

Response is structured on the tactical and logistical strengths of military to get aid to those who need it. Veterans thrive when serving and sacrificing for their communities. Join us in mobilizing resources to restore, rebuild and bring home victims of wildfires.

Heroes Initiative One Mission is currently moving to 3904 N Division Street. Community Center opening September 9th.

Our care coordinators will tailor a plan that best suits the needs of each individual veteran and/or family member.
